There are plenty of scenic walks around too. Cuss Beach is only a 10 minute stroll down the mountain, as is Pat Spillane’s Bar and the charming Vestry Restaurant. Four miles along the coast is the picturesque town of Kenmare, with its quaint shops, traditional music pubs and award-winning restaurants. The cottage is the ideal base to explore the Ring of Kerry scenic route with its mountain ranges, sea views, beautiful lakes, historic castles and ancient sites. There are also plenty of sporting activities close by: Golf course 1 mile; Trout, salmon & sea fishing 2 miles; Deep sea fishing 5 miles; Horse riding/pony-trekking, sailing & water-sports 3 miles.
